Privacy Policy

Information we collect

• Account data: email address, optional display name, password hash (if you register with email).
• Learning data: words, translations, lessons, and practice progress you create.
• Authentication: OAuth provider identifiers when you sign in with Google, GitHub, or LinkedIn.
• Technical data: server logs, IP address, and browser type for security and reliability.
• Optional AI enrichment: when enabled, word text may be sent to our backend AI integration to generate examples (see in-app settings).

How we use information

We use your data to operate your account, sync vocabulary across devices, run spaced-repetition practice, improve the product, and respond to support requests. We do not sell your personal information.

Storage and security

Data is stored on secure servers. Access tokens are kept in your browser (and optional app install); we use HTTPS in production. You are responsible for keeping your device secure.

Your choices

You may update profile settings, export learning data via the product where available, and delete your account from Profile → Delete account. Deletion removes your account and associated learning data from our systems, subject to backup retention limits.
